Day 1 – Athens → Corinth → Epidaurus → Nafplion → Mycenae → Olympia

Your private driver will meet you at your Athens hotel and escort you south along the National Highway to the Peloponnese. First stop: the Corinth Canal, or Isthmus, a striking man-made connection between the Aegean and Ionian seas — perfect for photos and a coffee break.

Continue along the coastal road of the Saronic Gulf, passing scenic harbors and villages, en route to Epidaurus. Explore the sanctuary of Asclepius with its stunning theater, celebrated worldwide for exceptional acoustics.

Next, visit Nafplion, a picturesque port town rich in neoclassical architecture. Stroll through the old town, photograph the Palamidi and Bourtzi fortresses, and enjoy lunch beneath the shade of historic buildings near Syntagma Square.

In the afternoon, explore Mycenae, the legendary stronghold of King Agamemnon. Visit the Lion Gate, the Acropolis, and the Treasury of Atreus. Walk the ancient pathways steeped in myth, and imagine the power and intrigue of the Bronze Age.

Drive to Olympia, arriving in the evening. Dinner at a local taverna and overnight stay.

Day 2 – Olympia → Delphi

After breakfast, enjoy a private tour of Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games. Explore the Temple of Zeus, Temple of Hera, ancient gymnasiums, and the stadium, where athletes once competed for glory. Visit the Archaeological Museum, home to the original pediments of Zeus and Hermes by Praxiteles.

Begin the scenic drive north to Delphi, passing through the valley of Elis, the city of Patras, and crossing the Rio–Antirrio Bridge, one of the largest suspension bridges in Europe. Stop in Nafpaktos, a historical coastal town where the famous Battle of Lepanto was fought, for coffee and photos.

Continue along the coastal road, enjoying views of the Corinthian Gulf, the largest olive groves in Greece, and charming fishing villages. Ascend Mount Parnassus to reach Delphi, perched 600 meters above the valley. Overnight stay in Delphi, with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and sea.

Day 3 – Delphi → Athens

After breakfast, explore Delphi’s archaeological treasures:

  • Archaeological Museum, including the Bronze Charioteer and other ancient sculptures
  • The Treasuries, Temple of Apollo, Oracle, Theater, and Stadium
  • Kastalia Spring, ancient gymnasium, and Athena Pronaia precinct

After your guided tour, drive back toward Athens. Stop in Arachova, a mountain village famous for its handmade flokati rugs, and optionally visit the Osios Loukas Monastery.
