Day 1 – Athens → Corinth → Epidaurus → Nafplion → Mycenae

Pick up from Athens and head to the Corinth Canal for photos and coffee. Continue to ancient Corinth to explore the Temple of Apollo, Agora, and the Bema.

Drive along the Saronic Gulf coast to Epidaurus, visiting the sanctuary of Asclepius and its renowned theater.

Arrive in Nafplion, Greece’s first capital. Wander its neoclassical streets, photograph the Palamidi and Bourtzi forts, and enjoy coffee or lunch by the seaside.

In the afternoon, explore Mycenae, including the Lion Gate, Acropolis of Agamemnon, and Treasury of Atreus. Overnight in Nafplion.


Day 2 – Nafplion → Olympia

Drive across the Peloponnese to Olympia, either via highway or scenic mountain roads with stops in mountain villages like Lagadia or Dimitsana.

Enjoy a 2.5-hour private tour of Olympia: Temple of Zeus and Hera, ancient gymnasiums, stadium, and the Archaeological Museum with original pediments by Praxiteles.

Overnight stay at a small family-owned hotel in Olympia overlooking the valley of Elis.


Day 3 – Olympia → Delphi

Depart Olympia through the fertile valley of Elis and cross Patras and one of the largest suspension bridges in Greece. Stop in Nafpaktos for coffee and admire the coastal road, fishing villages, and olive groves.

Arrive in Delphi (600 meters elevation) and enjoy a private guided tour of the museum, bronze charioteer, Treasury Houses, Temple of Apollo, Oracle, and theater. Pause at the Castalia spring, ancient gymnasiums, and Temple of Athena Pronaia. Overnight stay in Delphi with stunning valley views.


Day 4 – Delphi → Athens

After breakfast, depart Delphi for Athens. Stop in Arachova, famous for hand-woven flokati rugs, and if time allows, visit the Osios Loukas Monastery.

Drive past Thebes, site of Oedipus’ myth and the Battle of Plataea, and the Marathon area, famous for the historic 490 BC battle. Return to Athens for hotel or airport drop-off.
